High alert in PTI Jalsa , Islamabad | 8 Sep 2024 

A high-security alert has been issued in Islamabad as the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) prepares to hold a large public rally in Sangjani on September 8, 2024.

 In response, authorities have implemented strict measures to prevent potential unrest. Key roads in and around Islamabad have been blocked with containers to control access to the rally site and prevent any spillover of violence.

 Around 7,000 law enforcement personnel, including police, rangers, and paramilitary forces, have been deployed to maintain peace. This heightened security comes amid intelligence reports suggesting possible disruptions from PTI supporters.

 Authorities want to isolate the rally site from the rest of Islamabad to avoid clashes. The rally had previously been postponed but was rescheduled to another date with the approval of local authorities.
