Terrible Fire Erupts in Karachi Shah Faisal 

On September 11, 2024, a tragic fire broke out at an illegal gas station beneath a residential building in Karachi's Shah Faisal Colony. 

The fire, which started due to an explosion, quickly spread to nearby shops and the building itself, trapping residents inside. Rescue teams tried to evacuate the residents but were hampered by thick smoke. 

At least one person was killed in the incident and several motorbikes and shops were destroyed.

 Taking note of the situation, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah ordered a crackdown on illegal gas stations and called for strict legal action against those responsible for putting lives at risk. 

He stressed the need to stop such unauthorized operations  to prevent future tragedies.
