Karachi Board Announces 2024 Matric General Group Results
The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) announced the Matric General Group results 2024 on August 30, 2024. This year, over 98% of students who sat the exam passed. Of the 19,638 registered candidates, 18,640 sat the exam with a pass rate of 98.10%.
Girls in particular dominated the top spots in the General Group exam. Students from Iqra Haffaz School secured the top three slots with Laiba Bint achieving the highest score of 88.46%, closely followed by Habib Munir and Anshura Taufiq with scores of 88.18% and 88.09% respectively. 
These results include both mainstream and private school pupils, as well as special categories such as hearing and speech impaired pupils, who received their results on the same day.
