PTI workers throng Sangjani gathering despite odds

ISLAMABAD: Despite hurdles put up by the police and the capital administration in their way, a large number of PTI supporters managed to reach the venue in Sangjani to attend a public gathering which had been in the works for several months.

Despite significant challenges, a large number of PTI (Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf) supporters gathered at Sanjani, a suburb of Islamabad, recently in a show of unity. 

Despite heavy police presence, tear gas shelling and restrictions, many PTI workers remained determined to continue their anti-government protests. 

The demonstration was part of the party's ongoing efforts to demand the release of party leader Imran Khan and express dissatisfaction with the current government. However, the incident led to clashes with police, resulting in injuries to both policemen and protesters.

 Despite official orders to conclude the meeting by a specific date, PTI workers continued their protest well beyond the scheduled time. Authorities responded with warnings and crowd dispersal measures . 

The situation reflects growing tensions between the  PTI and the current government as the party continues to rally support for Khan's release and push for broader political reforms.
