RAWALPINDI: The security forces thwarted a deadly attack on a Frontier Corps Headquarters, killing a group of four suicide bombers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Mohmand district, the military’s media wing said on Saturday.


On September 6, 2024, Pakistani security forces  successfully foiled a terrorist attack on the Frontier Corps (FC) headquarters in  Mohmand district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.


 Four militants, identified as members of the Fitna-ul-Hawari group, tried to enter the camp early this morning. The attackers, a suicide bomber, were neutralised by  security forces before any damage could be done. 

After the operation was completed, searches were conducted in the  area to eliminate any further threats. The incident reflects the continuing efforts of Pakistani security forces to combat terrorism and ensure stability in the region.
