 PTI Lahore Jalsa:

The PTI Lahore Jalsa was controversial, leading to allegations of misappropriation of public funds and clashes between the party and government authorities.

Punjab's Information Minister Asma Bukhari criticized the PTI for allegedly using public resources, such as official vehicles and infrastructure, to support the rally.

She accused the party of focusing on political gain rather than public service, likened the PTI rally to a concert, and expressed concern about the possibility of disrupting public order.

Meanwhile, the  PTI  faced increasingly tough demands from the provincial government, which imposed conditions on the event, including restrictions on participants with criminal records.

Despite these obstacles, the PTI leadership, including former Prime Minister Imran Khan, remained committed to holding the rally, seeing it as crucial to the party's political momentum.

Motorway Block:

Due to a Pakistan Tibetan Initiative (PTI) rally in Lahore, parts of the highway, including the M2 and M1, were closed. These closures were part of safety and traffic management measures and caused significant disruption to commuters.

Traffic was diverted from key points such as Chakri and Neela Dullah, forcing drivers to take alternative routes, resulting in lengthy delays and traffic jams.

The closures affected traffic between key provinces such as Punjab, Islamabad and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, causing inconvenience  to people trying to cross the closed sections.
