Zee TV is launching a new drama series titled "Vasudha", which is scheduled to premiere on September 16, 2024. The series will replace the current primetime series Pyar Ka Pehla Adhyay Shiv Shakti.

 "Vasudha" is a classic saas-bahu (mother-in-law vs daughter-in-law) drama that revolves around the intense relationship between two strong female characters - authoritarian matriarch Chandrika Singh Chauhan,  played by veteran actress Nausheen Ali Sardar, and  free-spirited daughter-in-law Vasudha, played by newcomer Priya Thakur.

 The story revolves around the clash of their opposing worldviews, values and ideologies, especially after Vasudha marries Chandrika's son Deevansh Singh Chauhan (played by Abhishek Sharma). The show promises high voltage drama, emotional depth and intense conflict as  two women vie for dominance in the family.

 The character of Deevansh is portrayed as a principled and sensitive individual who supports those he believes in while still respecting his mother. The new series aims to captivate audiences with its compelling storyline and strong performances and is a highly anticipated addition to Zee TV
